Welcome to Mental Health Insights (formally Bipolar Insights)

As of January 1, 2019, we have changed our name to Mental Health Insights!

We are the same organization, the same people and great volunteers, we just have a new name …

Check back as the website is under construction. More great things to come!

Mental Health Insights

Mental Health Insights is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Corporation located in the city of Placerville. Mental Health Insights is unique in that we care not only for those who are diagnosed with a mental illness, but we also reach out to the families and the community.

We help educate people affected by mental health through low-cost classes, counseling, and literature.

Misconceptions …

You don’t look like a person with a mental illness.

Well, what exactly does a person with a mental illness look like? Do they have that far away look, drool, bump into walls, or are their faces distorted in some way?

Individuals with bipolar disorder are male, female, children, and teens, just like you and me.

Time to get serious
